Ford Motors Company Offers Apple Siri Free Update With Its Cars


Ford Motors Company is offering Apple Siri Free update with vehicles to appease its customers.

Ford Motors Company has improved the capacity of its vehicles. Owners of the Michigan based automaker’s vehicles and iPhones within built Sync infotainment equipment could now employ Siri to carry out various tasks whereas continuously keeping an eye on the road. The company on Thursday proclaimed the Siri-Eyes-Free tool, remarking that the application could be availed for more than 5m vehicles equipped with the system dating back to 2011.
With an iPhone connected to the vehicleSiri Eyes-Free would be working with the carmaker’s Sync application to let operators receive and make phone calls, get driving commands, keep a check on calendar appointments through voice instructions and hear music. Ford news affirmed that corporations based in Silicon Valley are increasingly finding vehicles as an area to incorporate their expertise. Carrying their competition from the market of smartphones, both Google and Apple offer an application pioneered to let users control their in-vehicle entertainment equipment, check their electronic mails, keep checks on the road they are using for commuting and make hands-free calls.
Looking ahead on the highly advanced road, corporations encompassing Tesla Motors, Google and the ride sharing enterprise Ube have planned for fully driverless vehicles, which could turn into a reality for shoppers soonest by 5 years now. The Sync has been able to go through three editions since its opening in 2007. "Sync, Ford's entertainment and communications system, was designed to be flexible upgradable, just like other mobile technologies, so our customers are able to get the most out of their smartphones while behind the wheel," Ford’s official Sherif Marakby stated.
As an easy application update, it offers a convenient method for operators to attain new tools. But majority of the owners of Ford’s vehicles are looking for the automobile manufacturers to install the consumer electronics maker’s Car play, a high tech, more modernized system that is known for providing a built-in media center, onscreen maps and touch-screen controls.
Ford news today reported that a spokesperson at the automotive organization acknowledged that the organization aims to offer support to both Google and Car Play’s Android Auto with Sync Version three but can’t give a deadline for availability.
